GRAND OPENING: LOCAL PRESS STRATEGY & COMMUNITY ACTIVATION
I led public relations strategy and execution for the opening of Pause Studio’s second Nashville location, building awareness ahead of launch while deepening the brand’s connection to the local wellness community through experiential programming and influencer engagement.
The work:
Led PR strategy and media outreach for the grand opening announcement
Concepted and executed a community-focused grand opening block party, partnering with complementary wellness brands to program a full day of activation, including community workout classes, local vendors, brand partners, gifting, and on-site logistics
Led media and influencer preview visits both pre- and post-opening, securing 100+ influencer visits within the first 30 days of opening
Coordinated five “pod parties” within the first 30 days — private studio experiences designed for select influential groups within the Nashville wellness community
Secured and coordinated a studio photoshoot and paid placement opportunity with Nashville Guru
Supported ongoing storytelling and brand visibility following opening, maintaining momentum and securing coverage in top-tier local outlets including The Tennessean and Nfocus
